PSN Still Down But Still a Good Weekend For Gaming News
- An upcoming zombie action game, Dead Block, (shown in the above screenshot, has been revealed via its official web site.
- Test Drive Unlimited 2 for the PC got a new free update that includes new cars, events, in-game clothes and lots of bug fixes.
- This YouTube video claims to show gameplay footage from Grand Theft Auto V but the footage is so blurry and shaky it could be anything.
- Will we see an official reveal of Starhawk, the sequel to the PS3 game Warhawk, sometime this week? Signs point to yes. (PS - You can get a Warhawk Bundle for $15 to $25 that comes with a very nice Jabra bluetooth that costs more than the bundle so you basically get a bluetooth with a free game.)
- Valve's head man Gabe Newell has an interview where he discusses the company's current stance on making single player games. - Speaking of Valve, one of its writers Erik Wolpaw talks about the creation of Portal 2 including why the player character doesn't speak in the game.
- The first of eight prose short stories based on the upcoming crime action game L.A. Noire is now available for free download.
- Bungie's weekly news update confirms that the developer won't have an official presense at E3 2011. There's also a Stephen Colbert reference.
- The late Osama Bin Laden's Pakistan compound has now been made into a Counter-Strike Source map.
